Speeds and
Runtimes
The
speeds quoted for the range of Torpedo DPVs are a combination of the
manufacturer’s expected minimum and the actual speeds reached
in test.
Likewise, the run times are a conservative estimate based on real
diving experiences. There are many factors that affect run times and
speed. These factors include diver weight, shape (drag), buoyancy etc.
Divers should appreciate that the run times and speeds quoted by all
manufacturers are approximate.
Diving
with a Torpedo reduces your air consumption (approx 50%) whilst
improving your overall mobility. You will have a much greater diving
range, diving with a Torpedo is easy & fun.
