| Torpedo
DPVs are slightly negative when underwater. This allows a diver to set
the unit down on the bottom to make equipment adjustments, take
pictures, etc.
Snorkellers will
want their Torpedo to be positively buoyant, whereas
most divers will prefer neutral or slightly negative buoyancy.
Adaptability is achieved with our low cost buoyancy bag. This adjusts
the DPV’s buoyancy, with ease.
It has an
automatic pressure relief value, is simple to attach, easy to
use and can even adjust Torpedo’s buoyancy when underwater.

The
main battery compartment seal is a simple, proven & effective
O-RING. This provides optimum protection against leakage and is very
easy to maintain. The nose cone / battery compartment seal is held
securely in place with stainless steel clips.
Torpedos have an
ingenious motor control system which doesn’t
use external mechanical switches or levers. The propeller is operated
by a magnetic reed switch located inside the DPV’s outer
aluminium
handle.
This is
activated by a magnet that is attached to the divers hand within a
convenient Velcro palm strap. Simple & effective.
